The freshwater fish ecological experience center in Uljin is the first place in Korea to display live freshwater fish. In 1999, it opened and operated the 100-pyeong freshwater fish exhibition hall in the first time in the nation. It has received a great response from the public. Based on this, it established a freshwater fish ecological experience hall upgraded· Opened the existing exhibition hall in November 2006. There are 119 species of 4,400 freshwater fish inhabitant in Korea and abroad, and you can observe how they actually swim and various types of freshwater fish are displayed in a specimen bottle. In the outdoor ecology workshop and outdoor water tank, you can see large fish such as colored carp, leather carp, big-head carp and small fishes such as mountain fishes and goldfish all swim together friendly in the water, also there is an outdoor field experience study center including fish feeding, and it has become a new culture, learning and resting space

Many freshwater fish are exhibited in the [Freshwater Fish Ecology Experience Center] managed by Gyeongsangbuk-do and they are equipped with facilities for observing the process of hatching salmon etc. in the laboratory. It is located at the entrance to the direction of Buryeong valley with Seongnyugul cave located to the south, and it is a good place to experience freshwater fish with family. In fact, the salmon hatch here is sent to the sea via Wangpicheon.

Uljin Geumgangsong Cultural Center displays a variety of experience spaces and woodcarving artifacts for easy understanding of Uljin Geumgangsong. The Uljin Geumgangsong, which is clearly compared to the pines of other regions, is on display. This cultural center, which makes us feel the awe of nature with skin, shows that Uljin Geumgangsong is an important forest heritage of our country and a resource to be protected.

The Uljin snow crab promotion exhibition center is a place where Uljin exhibited various kinds of knowledge and information about Uljin's specialty, snow crab and red snow crab. From the image of the chela of the snow crab, the inside of the center is divided into 6 spaces, and you can meet snow crabs and red snow crabs through models, images, real displays, and three-dimensional graphic panels.

This plate is made of ivory white gneissoid granite and its size is 204cm high and its overall shape is amorphous close to trapezoid. The inscription is carved on the front face of the natural stone, but it is estimated to have been erected in 524 (11th year of King Beopheung of Silla Kingdom), although it is hard to read because it is worn with 399 characters. The inscription shares a characteristics of a law inscription, written about serious incident occured in Uljin province some time before the plate was constructed, incident of casting fire and surrounding the castle, having Silla central government involving large number of military to quell down the situation, and as a post-processing for the incident, King Beopheung and his 13 governors held the six viscera meeting, sentencing 60 and 100 beat with cudgel and promoting the local people after sacrificing striped ox(brindled cow) so that these kinds of incident never come across again.

The discovery of this inscription plate has provided an opportunity to revitalize the study of ancient history and proved that the record of 'The Chronicles of the Three States.' is true. In addition, it provides valuable data for studying the limits of the kingship that did not transcend the legislative, the territory of Silla at that time, the bureaucracy, the structure of local government, the structure of village, and ceremonial event.

Uljin Science Experience Center is located on the shores of Yeonhojeong Lake, a resting place of Uljin people. It regularly opens science experience classes centered on preschool children and elementary, junior high and high school students to understand science principles, develop creativity, science experiments and robot production and so on, it gives children and students motivation for science experience by providing opportunities.
