Hupo, located at the southernmost end of Uljin, is the rich fishing ground of the East Sea, but not widely known to the public. But now appearing on the public TV program, Hupo has become one of the most famous fishing villages known to all the people. If you climb a Deunggisan mountain with a Hupo lighthouse located, you can look down on the scenery of Hupo at a glance, and you can have a pleasant time strolling through a Mural village filled with interesting paintings leading from the mountain.

The Hupo Lighthouse and Murals Village are located in Hupo 4 ri. Every year, Uljin Snow Crab Festival is held here every year, and there are lots of sushi restaurants, many tourists visit the Hupo 4-ri restaurant, which is rich in food and sightseeing.

In the vicinity of Hupo Lighthouse, there are pavilions of Namhojeong, Neolithic Exhibition Hall and old trees together to form a grass park. In particular, the nettle tree, which is over two hundred years old, is blended with the sea and boasts a beautiful figure like a picture. People are going to stand in line to take pictures together

When going down to the mural village leaving behing the lighthouse, you will meet two dogs each side on the roadside. On the left is a white, mild dog meditates upon looking down at the village, and on the right is a black dog who strongly guarding herself from people watching her. The nature and the appearance are opposite to each other, and it is receiving a keen interest from the tourists.
